For the sixth week’s assignment, we have our first design task!

First, pick three of the Gestalt principles (listed below):

  1. Figure and Ground
  2. Similarity
  3. Proximity
  4. Uniform Connectedness
  5. Good Continuation
  6. Common Fate
  7. Closure

Then create a composition for each that accomplishes the following:

  1. Illustrates the principle (acts as an example of the principle)
  2. Explains the principle in your own words
  3. Pays attention to the lessons of the first 5 weeks (include margins, good type, etc.)
